Fafner hits stores in the US

Fafner: Kids On Robots, Versus Aliens
if you've never heard of Fafner, you've got problems, or at least don't have access to Newtype Magazine.
Fafner is about a peaceful island thrown into turmoil when a large Alien force attack for unknown reasons. a group of naive kids are specially chosen to pilot the Fafner, robots that fuse with the pilots, and is all about the battles the kids face. sounds familiar dosent it? well that's bacause it's from the makers of Martian Successor Nadesico and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, plus it's top staff has been involved in everything from Evangelion to Love Hina. there's a hint of all of those anime (along with a healthy dose of RahXephon) that will make this anime awesome.
Volume 1 hits the US this July.
