hey what do you think the series would be like if ed were taller or like normal height

i mean if he still was missing and arm and a leg but was just taller


(also wondering if im the only one that has noticed that winrey was wearing a SHORT skirt )

well that would change the comedy a lil bit

I knew that Winry was wearing a skirt she changed it after she left to fix Ed and Al!
Ed since he doesn't drink milk he would never grow taller nevertheless change his appearance!

well i think that it wouldnt really change the plot much it would still be about two brothers looking for the philosophers stone but as kyo kitty said i think that the comedy about his height would change it..

i just think they'd drop all the short jokes and ed wouldn't be so angry all the time.

exactly. like in flame vs fullmetal. someone in the crowd makes some crack of him being short and you see al trying to hold him back while ed is making a bunch of threats. if he's normal height then it's dead, but it would still be a cool series. but if he was taller winry would probably like him more

Yeah... If you haven't noticed, the short jokes are kinduva necessity. The storyline of FMA is VERY heavy, and often very serious. If not for the short jokes (and a little bit of other absurdity and comedy), the show would be very depressing. Like Wolf's Rain. While it is a very good show, I'm certain I would be unable to watch it all the way to the end in one sitting. It would freak me out.

FMA, on the other hand, I could make it all the way through, because there are lighthearted moments of comedy. The short jokes make up about 70% of that comedy. It's like... the ocean. But with someone being called a pipsqueak.
