i have a plan to get rich in the FMA world and i wonder y every alchemist couldnt do that ok so u buy some lead and then turn it into gold and them buy more lead and do it again and again and again y dont ed or al do that???

yeah Ed isn't SO bright but smart of to think that but yeah why doesn't he just do that?

It's illegal. You obviously missed that episode.

What Ed has done, however, is turn stones into gold - but he then had them change back into stones after he did his dirty deed. It was a funny episode. At least, that part.

If you suddenly got rich out of nowhere... Oh, they would notice. Then there would be an investigation. And you'd be in a lot of trouble.
