in case anyone's woundering, i believe the thunder alter is
either named or controled by someone named "Muyo" or something like that, he plays a BIG role in the show

Kyoji Mujo is NOT the thunder alter. There actually is no thunder alter.
The creature that killed Zetsuei and Ryuho's mother is the crystallized form of the other side in which alter users draw their power from.
Kyoji Mujo's alter ability is absorbtion. He uses it on Cougar, almost killing him, and uses it to fuse with the crystallized form.
