Characters: Gunslinger Girl – Il Teatrino
Description: Gunslinger Girl – Il Teatrino
A continuation of the previous series, set in Italy, where little girls that were injured either by illness or terrorist attacks are rescued by the Social Welfare Agency – then turned into cybernetic anti-terrorist agents controlled by chemicals and watched over by handlers called 'fratellos', who work for the super-secret Section Two and battle the Padania Republic Faction, or "the Five Republics" for short.
Among some of the situations the young assassins find themselves in: Triela comes face-to-face with the Five Republics' disposal expert Pinocchio, one which would dominate much of the series; Angelica, having survived episode 13 of the previous series, is back in active duty, but her fratello Marco is worried when she develops an addiction to the conditioning chemicals, as well as facing his former fiancée about his involvement with Section Two, and the girls converge upon Cristano, one of the Five Republics' principle players – but an enemy infiltrator might jeopardize the entire operation!
