Anime Profile: Hanaukyo Maid Team La Verite

Taro Hanayuko's mother passed away. As a consequence, he is moving to live with his grandfather. It turns out his grandfather is very rich and employs a mansion filled with beautiful young maids. When his grandfather disappears, Taro is made head of the family. He's not quite used to being rich - or some of the things grandpa did. Grandpa was something of a pervert, as some of the maids hired had the sole function of sleeping with grandpa in the same bed. Head maid Mariel helps Taro make sense of his new world.

Most of the stories deal with Taro's trying to fit into his hew life. Ryuka is a spoiled brat who is also the head-to-be of the Hanayuko's main rivals, the Jihiohs. Later, she is forced to take a lesson in humility and become one of his maids. Head of security Konoe is an expert at martial arts and swords. Yashima, her assistant, has an unrequited love for Konoe. Cynthia/Grace is a split personality maid that is head of the computer department. Cynthia is sweet and loving, while Grace is all business. Ikuyo Suzuki is a mad scientist/doujinshi artist.
