Freezes if you quit out of a game. One person reports it works using hdl_dumb (check the box with dvd9)

[Mode 1] When booting HDLoader, press and hold UP on the D-Pad, a M should appear in the top-right. If booted without the M, crashes randomly at enemies and World Map, and according to one person it will even sometimes crash with the M. Audio issues occur at random, from BGM cutting out to battle sound effect distortion, usually resulting in menu sounds stopping altogether, which typically signals an impending freeze.

One report of being compatible and one report to the contrary. (Perhaps the compatible report came from someone using an updated HDLoader, but forgot to mention it.)

Selecting Rikimaru results in a white screen when starting a new game. If you load a game where Rikimaru's 1st level is complete, it plays fine.
