Character Profile: Bugzzy

Bugzzy was the third monster Kirby had to face. Bugzzy is an overgrown insect monster that use broadswords and spiked clubs, among other weapons. In a few Kirby games, he has never used any weapons like that, he uses his brand new wrestling moves instead.

When Kirby sucks him up, he could become Backdrop Kirby or Suplex Kirby. Beware...this monster is extremely dangerous. He could rip you in half with his razor sharp pincers.

Bugzzy is a giant purple beetle with a club in one hand and a sword in the other. He is an excellent swordsman and knows plenty of sword-fighting moves. He can also make two swords in his hands when he feels threatened.

Bugzzy was bought by King Dedede when he learned that Kirby couldn't use a sword while he was battling Meta Knight. However, Dedede was wrong; Kirby WAS able to use a sword. Kirby became Sword Kirby and defeated Bugzzy with one sword beam, so hopefully Bugzzy would never come into anyone's view again.

In the games, Bugzzy never uses any weapons other than his own body. He knows plenty of wrestling techniques and instead of giving Kirby the Sword ability, he often gives him some sort of wrestling ability when our pink hero eats him up.
