Description: Knights of Sidonia
It has been over 1000 years since mankind was forced from Earth and the Sol system by a hostile lifeform known as Gauna. The survivors had placed themselves in huge world spaceships, wandering the galaxy since. One of these ships is Sidonia, which has a society based upon Japan's, and all forms of human engineering, as well as asexual reproduction, are commonplace.
Nagate Tanikaze lived in the bowels of the ship since birth, and it was only after the death of his grandfather, as well as his hunger, that he made his presence known. His natural ability to pilot huge mechas known as Gardes has him placed in the academy to be one of the elite pilots. But his timing is bad โ the Gauna have returned, and he's going to have to learn to fight pretty fast!
