Anime Description: The Castle of Cagliostro

"When light and shadow are once more, then it shall be restored." This riddle is just one of the mysteries that master thief Arsene Lupin III must solve in this 1980s movie, the very first for acclaimed anime director Hayao Miyazaki.

Master thief Lupin, his crackshot sidekick Daisuke Jigen, samurai Goemon Ishikawa, super sexy Fujiko Mine... as well as obsessive Inspector Zenigata... are gathered at an old European duchy when a caper of Lupin's gather up some counterfeit cash... the legendary "Goat" bills. The bogus bills soon lead to a runaway bride who is about to be wed to a greedy count. It's nonstop thrills as anime's true master thief comes to the helpless damsel's aid.

Note: Some of the scenes shown in this movie were used in a 1982 video game called "Cliff Hanger."
