Description: Macross Zero
Macross Zero is a Prequel OVA that takes place one year before the events of Space War I in the original Macross (a.k.a. Robotech: Season 1), when a Civil war between the UN Spacy and Anti-UN forces reached its final days.
UN Spacy pilot Shin Kudou is shot down by a new Anti-UN enemy plane, causing him to crash land on a peaceful and remote Mayan island where technology is nonexistant. However, while Shin rests and heals his wounds, the peace is shattered during the development and launch of the new fighter known as the VF-0. And if that weren't enough, he soon learns of the island's link to a mysterious alien life form that both sides are actively hunting, bringing the war to their doorstep.
However, they'll soon learn that waking this ancient alien force will yield deadly consequences for everyone.....
