Character Description: Apos

Apos is the primary antagonist of the series, who seeks and desires to become a permanent Guardian of Yggdrasil. Apos is a hermaphrodite, by possessing qualities of both angel and immortal time fruits, which makes him a "god", according to him. Some of the time he is seen in his castle, playing chess and torturing immortal females, in a bondage way, by stabbing them with his swords and see them cry out of agony in pure delight. He has a sadistic personality, amusement and beauty, and often smiles innocently whenever he stalks immortals if he confronts them, asking if he can eat their memories, as in stealing their time fruits.

Apos demonstrates great interest in Rin, to the point that he hires mortal killers (and sometimes angels) to target her, and to steal her time fruit. It's later revealed that he has the ability to instantly remove the time fruits out from both angels and immortals, thus killing them. Later on in the series, Apos is revealed to be the child of Tajimamori, who was the previous Guardian of Yggdrasil. Guardians are supposed to switch after a long while, however, Apos desires and seeks to become a permanent guardian by sacrificing Rin to Yggdrasil.
