Description: Odin: Photon Space Sailer Starlight
The year is 2099, and man has discovered ways to traverse the vast distances of space and has reached as far as the asteroid belt. And now the Starlight, the greatest space cruiser man has built, is beginning its maiden voyage, a voyage which will be unlike anything ever anticipated.
It all began with a distress call. The Starlight, racing to the rescue, manage to rescue a survivor. Suddenly, the ship is hurled through a space cleft and right into a great mystery, one in which an ancient legend unfolds and an alien civilization is discovered.
What will happen next will take the Starlight and its crew to places never dreamed of and pit them against dangers they couldn't possibly imagine. All this in pursuit of the planet known as Odin. Will the crew succeed?
Odin: Photon Space Sailor Starlight introduces an interesting possiblity of the origins of the Norse myths, tying in some of the ancient stories (such as the cataclysmic battle Ragnarok which destroyed the old world) with the possibility of alien contact.
