Description: Paranoia Agent
Modern life can be a real drag. There is desolation, despair, and desperation. Tortured, downtrodden souls cry out for release. Then, seemingly in answer to these cries, an urban legend is spawned...
"When the darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears..."
Detectives question Tsukiko Saki, a woman who had been beaten by a blunt object. Originally thinking her bizarre story to be a cover-up for some crime, they begin to believe her story when more and more victims begin to appear.
Lil' Slugger [Shounen Bat, literally "Bat Boy"], a mysterious boy who rides gold inline skates and strikes without warning with his golden baseball bat, leaving broken bones and altered lives in his wake. These detectives soon begin the chase for this mysterious serial attacker. In the process, they become entangled in something much darker than they had originally anticipated.
