Character Description: Washu Kobayashi
Washu Kobayashi is your typical "child prodigy." At twelve years of age, she was already an M.I.T. graduate when she immigrated from her native United States to Japan. Once there, she became a science teacher at the school where Tenchi and Sasami Kawai attend.
But Washu also has a secret agenda: to find out the mystery of the "Magical Girl". By a stroke of luck, she happened to arrive in town just in time for the struggle between Pretty Sammy and Pixy Misa. Every once in a while, she helps out Sammy when she's in a jam, especially when Bif Standard tried to "standardize" the world by crashing the Moon into Earth.
Note: Washu Kobayashi's last name is the last name of her voice actress, Yuko Kobayashi.
