It has become possible for the human psyche to be measured and monitored for the possibility of of an individual committing crime. A young girl, Akane Tsunemori, has become a new Inspector in the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division. She is paired with Shinya Kogami, an Enforcer whose Psycho-Pass makes him highly susceptible for violence. Even though the possibility that Kogami might become a killer is strong, both he and Tsunemori are tasked with finding those who face the same fate, and stop them – possibly with deadly force!
