Anime Description: Queen's Blade, Season 1
In a far-off land, a competition is held every four years. Women from all around compete is this tournament, the prize being the winner is declared queen of the continent. Now the rules are clear: the competitors must be 12 years of age or older, they don't have to be human or citizens of the land, any weapon can be used... and killing is allowed! The winner of each match is the woman who either kills her opponent, disables her, or forces her to flee for her life.
Reina, a vagabond warrior, never intended to enter the Queen's Blade tournament, instead using her skills to bring justice to the land. But a chance encounter with the thief Listy – as well as her disappearance – causes the girl to walk a path which will eventually lead her to the city of Gainos, the seat of the contest!
