Description: Slayers: The Book of Spells
Originally released as two separate video tapes (Dragon Slave and Explosion Array), these are three different adventures featuring those twin mercenary sorcoresses, Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent:
The Scary Chimera Plot
After refusing to be part of an old alchemist's stupid plan to incorporate her head into a super-chimera, Lina once again faces him a month later. This time, the alchemist, Diol, has a secret weapon at his disposal, which turns out to be Lina's worst nightmare - ten copies of Naga the Serpent!
Jeffrey's Knighthood
Lina and Naga are hired on by the mother of a rather wimpy fighter in the hopes that the girls could whip him into fighting trim. Of course, the person in question, Jeffrey, is totally hopeless as a warrior: woefully out-of-shape, clumsy on his feet and utterly dangerous with a sword - to himself and everyone around him! However, Lina and Naga have no choice (they spent all the money) but to help the poor sap out or face a fate worse than death - his mother.
Mirror, Mirror
Lina and Naga, at the behest of the Professional Magic-users Society (P.M.S.), go after the Society's vice president, who has stolen recently found artifacts that point the location to a legendary mirror, which can create exact copies of those whose reflections are caught in it - but with totally opposite personalities of the originals! After catching up with him, the girls are horrified to find out that he had indeed found the mirror - and uses it to capture Lina and Naga's images! However, the results are more horrifing - and hilarious - than anyone imagined!
