Character Profile: Kazuto Kirigaya

Kazuto Kirigaya, also known as Kirito in Sword Art Online, is a Japanese gamer who doesn't really fit in with other people. He buys SAO to escape from the real world into a virtual one, but gets stuck in its creator's death game.He escapes, but finds himself in another game, Alfheim Online because its creator, Sugo, trapped Kazuto's girlfriend in it. He steals her back, and Sugo is taken to prison.

Kazuto is then told to investigate a game called Gun Gale Online, where mysterious deaths have taken place. The one responsible for these killings is a player named Death Gun. Kazuto meets a girl named Sinon, and together they enter the third Battle royale tournament, Bullet of Bullets. After all other 27 players are eliminated, Kazuto and Sinon take out Death Gun.

About a year later, Augmented Reality overruns Virtual Reality and makes a device called the Augma. On it is a game called Ordinal Scale. Monsters from SAO begin appearing in OS, so the whole gang from SAO must meet up again to stop the monsters, find the source of them, and stop the scheme from finishing.

Kazuto Kirigaya, also known as Kirito, is the main male protagonist in the anime Sword Art Online. As well as all the other 10,000 players in the world of Sword Art Online, Kirito is trapped in this virtual reality world and can only escape by beating the game, which can only be beat by defeating all 100 Floor Bosses.

Kirito has dark black hair and dark obsidian gray eyes. In the virtual world, Kirito wears a black trench coat, a dark gray shirt, black pants held up by a black belt, black boots, and carries two different colored swords labeled Elucidator, a black-bladed sword, and a bright teal sword labeled Dark Repulsor in sheaths on his back.

Kirito is considered a solo player earlier in the series, but then teams up with a girl named Asuna Yuuki, who he then marries in game later in the series and buys a house with her by a lake. It is also said that Kirito is someone who doesn't talk much and is very quiet around other people, although he can be very protective and arrog ant.
