So how was your weekend? My girlfriend and I went to see the Shasta Caverns, which was very beautiful, although the tour seemed really short. I also picked up the "Weird Al" Yankovic Live! DVD this weekend, which is basically his concert with a couple music videos. I did get to see his concert when he came to Redding, and this DVD is a good representation of that concert. I would highly recommend it...so pick up your copy today.
Okay, and now for the update: I added the profile of Isamu Dyson.

It's been over half a year since this website has been touched, and I'm happy to finally provide a much needed update. So what has been going on for these past months? Soon after the last update, I went to Japan for about a week to pick up source code for our next games. Even though it was a business trip, I did have a couple days to just look around. Despite the company I was with (the other programmer), I had a great time and look forward to going back.
Shortly after that I decided to move out of my apartment and get myself a nice house. I had no idea how much time it takes to go through the whole process of getting a house, moving in, decorating, and everything else that comes with a new house. Anyway, after putting in a new kitchen counter and getting the pool cleaned up, I am very happy with it. Hopefully I will have a picture to put up on the net soon.
All the while I have still been working very hard at my job. After returning from Japan, I started working on the Arc the Lad collection while trying to finish up Vanguard Bandits. Well, E3 was sneaking up pretty quick. I had Arc the Lad I ready to demo and was working on getting Arc the Lad II ready (and still putting more finishing touches on Vanguard Bandits), when the other programmer decided to leave the company. This meant I had to put Arc the Lad II on hold and get the LUNAR 2 demo ready (not just for E3, but also because the LUNAR 2 demo comes packaged with Vangaurd Bandits). I'm glad that I got to take over LUNAR 2, because there were a lot of things I was wanted to do with it, but this also meant that Arc the Lad II would not be ready for E3.
Going to E3 was a blast. I had a lot of time to walk around and check out all of the different booths, play a lot of the various games, and scope out many of the scantily clad females. When I wasn't seeing the sights, I was walking with Borgan, handing out the photos to whoever wanted to be eternally remembered as a minion of Borgan. And of course, what would a trip to L.A. be without a visit to Magic Mountain, and a ride on GOLIATH! Goliath is the fastest, steepest, and just the best roller coaster I have ever rode. Anyway, soon it was time to return home...but the weather had other ideas and canceled all flights home. So we rented a couple vans drove all the way from L.A. to Redding, taking only a single food break at this truck stop where we found this really cool pinball machine called Medieval Madness. Okay...now we have one in our office.
After Vanguard Bandits shipped with the LUNAR 2 demo, I got to start making a lot of really neat changes to LUNAR 2. I believe that the game now is much better than even the demo was, and I hope that those who have played the demo are pleasantly surprised. I am still working on LUNAR2 and the Arc the Lad collection, and I'm glad to say that Arc the Lad II is now up and running. Well, that's about where I am right now...I hope I haven't bored you too much. Hopefully in the future it won't take me so long to get the updates posted. Enjoy.
