Want some speed? Anyone? Well if you hadn't noticed, the website got a huge speed boost yesterday. This is basically due to, in simple terms, getting the forums on a separate computer from the rest of the site. If you're looking for a company to host your site, go with Prime Exalia Technologies, 'cause they're awesome. I also added sub-genres to the Anime Profiles Index, so we'll see how that works out.

Posted my review of Unleashed - Unrated.
On Friday we drove down to the town of Selma so that Treeses could take one of the USPS exams the next morning. The drive down took about five hours, and we arrived there around midnight, then went out to eat at Denny's, and boy was it busy! I thought Redding was a small town, but Selma must be tiny if the best thing to do on a Friday night is hang out at Denny's. Oh yeah, and after 10 PM, mashed potates are no longer available. Nor are salads. Nor are a bunch of other items on the menu. Now, some items I can understand, but salad? Sorry, it's after 10, I no longer know how to put lettuce on a plate. Does that seem stupid to anyone else? Anyway, the next morning Treese went in with a bunch of other people to take the test. It lasted a couple hours, and when it was over she said she felt pretty good about it.

Man, what a frightening day! It was 2:43 in the afternoon when I got an emotional phone call from my wife saying that she felt like she was having a heart attack, and was currently on her way to the emergency room. So I rushed over to Shasta Regional Medical Center hospital, only to realize that she said she was going to Mercy Medical Center. I didn't get that when she first said it since we both hate that hospital and only go to Shasta Regional. So I rushed over to Mercy and found her where else but sitting in the waiting room. Typical. The good news is it didn't seem like she was having a heart attack, as sharp pain in her chest had subsided. So after we waited a little bit longer there, we decided to head on over to our hospital, Shasta Regional. It was a while before we got in to see the doc, but were glad to hear that her symptoms were caused by Costochondritis, which although painful and exhibits similar symptoms to that of a heart attack, is not life threatening. So thank goodness for that!

Then I also have three anime titles that I will soon be doing profiles for, and those are Strange Love, Battle Skipper- The Movie, and Temptation.

Posted an anime profile for the insane comedy series Trouble Chocolate. Fixed a typo in my review of My Summer of Love which made my closing paragraph not show up.
We went to see Serenity today, and boy was that an awesome movie. I went into it not knowing exactly what to expect, and it just blew me away. I was thinking that it would probably feel more like a long episode of Firefly than an actual movie, but I was dead wrong; this is full-blown Sci-Fi action/adventure flick that can stand all on its own. I urge you to check it out if you have the chance.

Posted my review of My Summer of Love. I re-enabled the ability for forum members to change their usernames, and made it so that a message would be posted to a specific thread to inform everyone else of the name change. I also code so that once a user changers their name, they will then have to wait a set amount of time before they are able to change it again. I currently have it set to seven days, but if I still see the same people changing their names over and over again then I will up the time. I also fixed up the style of the Forum Memberlist page a bit and added a filter so it's easier to find specific usernames. And I forgot to mention this on the last update, but I put a new image over there to the right. I'm sure it's obvious to anyone who frequents the updates page, but I thought I should mention it anyway.

Split Gatchaman, Battle of the Planets, G-Force, and Eagle Riders into separate directories. Added some more to my bio, My Life in Vallejo, California (1990-1999), though it's still far from complete. I skipped a lot of experiences that I'll go back and cover later, but I really wanted to write about how Treeses and I first met, so I'm glad to have finally gotten that done.
