Anime Description: Angelic Layer

Angelic Layer is an anime series based off of the manga by the popular all-female manga troupe, CLAMP, who have brought us such wonderful series as Chobits, Card Captor Sakura, and X, to name a few.

The series follows the exciting adventures of young seventh-grader Misaki Suzuhara, who becomes fascinated by Angelic Layer the moment she encounters it upon her arrival in Tokyo. Identifying with both the Angels' small stature and their uncanny ability to persevere against unfathomable odds, Misaki eagerly enters into the world of Angelic Layer by creating Hikaru, an Angel of her very own, with the help of the often misunderstood but awesomely cool Icchan.

Angelic Layer supposedly takes place in the same universe as Chobits.
