Sosai X is the true power behind the criminal organization known as the Galactor Syndicate. This entity from the planet Selectoru came to Earth to conquer it. To this end X took male and female twins and fused them into a single entity... Berg Katse, created to lead Galactor. After being defeated by the Science Ninja Team in Gatchaman, X returned in a new form in Gatchaman II. At the end of that series, X was blown up but a piece of X survived to become Overlord Z in Gatchaman Fighter.
