He sighed and closed his eyes, deep in thought. It was a few silent moments before he opened his eyes again, his gaze on her, "Very well. You'll walk a little more each day, until you can walk fully on your own with no support. Meanwhile, I'll carry you. Does that sound alright?"

" i don't wish to impose." She said voide of all emotion, like a black hole all her words were sucked into nothingness.
suddenly her eyes widened as an immence powersource came from the right. her head darted to the right," Something's here.."

Sesshoumaru looked where her gaze had turned and nodded, sensing it too. He held her close to him with one arm and put his free hand on the hilt of his sword. Though, he was quite amazed as she had sensed it before he did. His senses were usually very acute. Was he losing his ability to sense danger immediately...or was there more to her than he saw?

the power source being the man from before stepped forward," so, she's awake is she?"
kaia didn't know who he was but something told her not to ever like this man, something made her hate him.

Sesshoumaru pulled out his sword and growled, a cold glare eminating from his eyes, "What business is it of yours..."

His sword was now pointed at the man. There was no mistaking the evil aura that surrounded the stranger. He didn't have good intentions, that was for sure. But, could he be tied with Kaia's past? He had to be, he knew her name...or was that from him watching them before.

the man frowned," it's my buisnies because that's my property you have there." He said drawing his sword," now hand over my assasin and I won't have to kill you.."
Kaia was confused, asssasin? She had no idea what she was talking about.

Sesshoumaru's glare became dark as he stood his ground, "A lady is never a possession. You are merely dirt for thinking otherwise. I suggest you run away...now."

He didn't recall ever being this furious besides the moment when he realized he had lost the Tessaiga to his hanyou brother.

" Says you." He said chargeing at him.

Sesshoumaru growled as the man's blade struck his arm. It's not that he couldn't have dodged, but he didn't want to. He couldn't move left, as there was a slightly large rock that Kaia would have been pushed against, and if he moved right, the blade would pierce through Kaia's heart.

He growled and aimed his own sword at the man's stomach, "You've made a grave mistake."

the man dodged and grabed Kaia right out of his hands. Kaia suddenly felt her strength come back. Her reflexs reacted and she grabed one of his extra swords and had it through his stomach..

Sesshoumaru's eyes widened as he slowly stepped back and sheathed his sword. Incredible... He would merely watch unless she needed help now.

The men stumbled back as Kaia had a good hold of the sword.
" You seemed to have triggered my strength to come back.." She said in a cold voice," big mistake." She charged and soon his head was seperated from his shoulders and rolling behind a bush.
Kaia turned around, the same expresion on her face as before," Here...or do you wish me to clean it first.."

Sesshoumaru stared, his expression stoic, for a long while, before he took a breath in and walked to her, "Milady, you are an interesting person. There's more to you than meets the naked eye, I can tell. I must have much to learn about you still..."

She sighed, her shoulders lowering slightly," I hope I find it out myself m'lord.."

Sesshoumaru's gaze softened slightly, "I know...but do not worry. I give you my word, I'll do whatever it takes to help you find out your past."

He was surprised at his words. His feelings towards her were...unfamiliar. He felt something else besides pity. He shook the feeling away and his stoic expression returned.
