Okies, this one is obsessed with Weezer and Greenday right now. Weezer's new album Make Believe and Pinkerton and Greenday's American Idiot and Dookie...They rock! I know alot of ppl like Greenday, does anyone like Weezer?

Weezer is an indie rock band. If you have recently heard a song on the radio called Beverly Hills, then its Weezer. Weezer is similar to Green Day but features a less punk-like attitude. If you are interested in Weezer, then this one suggests you buy Pinkerton, Make Believe, Maladroit, and Blue Album, all by Weezer.

I am so sick of Greenday. When they first started, they were at least tolerable. Now they are just horrible, and way too mainstream. And today, I loathe them just a little more, as I was skipping through some channels I saw that greenday frontman guy singing "We are the Champions" as his mascara began to run.

Dont doubt Green Day! It's their [censored] American Idiot, no pun intended, album that has ruined them. Now theyr'e all punk and gothic almost. B4, they were a cool rock band. This one will accept the temporary change, but don't lose faith on Green Day.

That We Are The Champions was actually pretty good! That was for Live 8, fool! It supported World Poverty for the poverty convention. Queen played that back in 1985 and Green Day was returnng the favor. Do any of you know what Live Aid/ Live 8 is?

Yeah, actually I do know what it is. It's to help raise awareness for world poverty, not money or food or anything, but AWARENESS. I'm sure the starving children around the world will appreciate that.

i am a fan of both green day andm weeser, but the older stuff by both, i can stand the new weeser stuff but i hate all the new greenday songs exept for saint jimmy (i just like that song, i dont know why) i own pinkerton from weeser and dookie, nimrod, and the new american idiot CD *shudders*

To you Mr. Psycho Sexy, *stabs him*. I underdstand your comment about poverty,however,*pulls sword back out* its alot beter than having a bunch of successful bands do nothing. Live 8 this year motivated ppl to, as you said, be AWARE. Money was made at that worldwide concert, and it was given to dying children. Do you think the only reason I cared about was b/c Green Day, U2, and Coldplay were playing?! I have so much respect for that concert and I have watched since I have been able to.

It's not that I don't respect what they're doing, it's just that they could do a lot more, with not much more effort. Millions of people attended these concerts, if they had charged just one dollars per person, that's a lot of money right there.
And by the way, I saw Pink Floyd at that thing, I thought they were dead.
