What Happens to the eaten Souls?

Ok i was thinking about this when the in the 3rd manga

Ichigo thinks "Dad doesn't know mom's soul was eaten"

and i was woundering what happnws to the souls a hollow eats after the hollow has gone to the soul socity and hell???

i'm sorry if this is explaned later in the show/manga but i have only seen up to vol.6 which is about epis 54!

no its not, i read up to vol. 7 and thats like episode 15 or 16

I'd be surprised if it actually did go that far in such a short amount of pages for manga...

Volume 10 is only centered around episode 22 - 26.

But in any case, no, it wasn't answered where the souls go. Either they could've been reaped as well when the Hollow was slain, or upon being eaten to fuel the Hollow itself, disappeared forever.

You know once you consume food, it's not exactly the same substance when it comes out...

yes i made a mistake i thought the charpters would directly corosoned to the epis!

Aaanyway... yeah, I'm sure it's merely converted to energy for the Hollows to live off, much like regular food would be for living things.

Then again, there may be some other reason given later on.
