Mötley Crüe is one great band, but band's today are awesome too. Although, it depends who. And AC/DC is seeeew overrated it's not funny. So there.

Oh yeah, gotta love AC/DC. Putting the same three chords in every song you write is pretty creative
But, yeah, older music > new music

Eh, I'd much rather listen to newer stuff. Props to the older bands for paving the way to where metal is now, but compared to some of the modern metal bands, AC/DC sounds like 2 year olds with makeshift instruments. The talent has just grew to such a climax it's getting harder and harder to top itself. Especially guitarists, better now than they've ever been.

Hey I'm an old person! I grew up with Motley Crue...heck I remember when Bon Jovi first brought out Slippery When Wet or Metallica's Black album (still will never top Master of Puppets). I try to keep open mind about my music as styles do change. Guitarists I might debate on though as no one will ever top Jimi...

I'd have to go with slash about the part of were he thanks the older metal bands to getting were they are now, and how guitarists, acoustic, electric, bass,players are all getting faster, like The lead guitarist of dragon force! Now that guy knows how to play.
