red
blue
purple
green
yellow
orange
black

The point is. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR BLACK TO BE GOTH! I know some people are going to say I am insane for saying this, but it is the truth. The part about wearing black is a steroetype.

I always think of labels such as 'goth' being more like your output on life and your qualities. Goths are always labeled as satanistic, emos are suicidal, preps are egotistical, punks are anti-government...I hate all that crap. I'm glad that the older you get the less you hear of that and the barriers deplete. I think it's hit its climax in 8th grade, that seemed to be the worst.

8th grade was such a cutthroat time. Everyone was after my neck. It seemed like everything I did determined what people thought and how I was treated. It was a nasty bloodsport I tell ya. Anyways, that's when everyone seemed to be classified and grouped together. Hard times.
