Who would win? Both of them are very powerful, but in the end, I think X would win. Why? Because I've seen him as a boss in X5...

IDK...They are both, as you said, powerful, but Zero has always been a step above Megaman. I think Zero would win.

X has the whole armor thing goin on though, so he's at an advantage defense wise.X alos has all the abilities he gained from the mavericks and such. Besides, I'm still mad at Zero for what happened in X4...poor Iris...

Eh....

this question has been asked again and again but still fun to talk about or discuss let's see here for advantages X has the long range attack advantage since Zero uses the Z Saber which is close range weapon and of course X has his 18 armors of doom especially the ultimate armors while Zero has Black Zero and Absolute Zero both are powerful but AZ is stronger with crazy close range attack power. For special weapons again X has long range weapons while the majority of Zero's weapons are close range sword techniques with elemental power in them but the long range attacks he does get are weak and useless but the boss version of him in X5 has some powerful long range and wide range attacks but it depens on which Zero your talking about semi maverick or maverick Zero. Now for actual combat it could be either one X has long range attacks giving him a better advantage but Zero is a swordsman and he could deflect the attacks but X has high powered armor each for deflect types of advantages all the way from simple speed, endurance, and power enhancements to being loaded down with heavy artillery. Zero only has 2 armors he still stands a chance Black Zero gives him speed, endurance, and power enhancements Absolute Zero turns him into a brute while crazy punching and kicking power. So it's a close call but I'll say X.

Do not forget several other things about Zero. From the Megaman Zero games, we realize that the Z-Saber has many other functions. Some include a boomerang shield. This is a rotating shield that can absorb and/or refelct buster shots. If absorbed, they charge the shield, which can then be thrown as an offensive weapon. This alone can counter X's buster shots.

Secondly, Zero's Z-Saber can also become a chain rod. The chain rod is like a whip of energy that has long reach. It can be used as a hookshot and offensive weapon. Again, this gives Zero more distanced attacks.

Thirdly, Zero has a Z-ROd, yet another extension of the Z-Saber. This rod can extend itself slightly.

Lastly, Zero does have his own buster rifle. It's a hand gun though, demonsrating Zero;s affinity with the sword. Remember that his sword is manupulated into the above forms. So, now, Zero can attack from a distance and deflect Mega's buster.

I know about all of that but that's a completely different Zero (physically) so it's got to be X series or Zero series Zero because his Zero series body is a copy of his original and upgraded body so he doesn't have all the powers he had from the X series and the topic creator didn't specify besides mentioning X5 so I was assuming he was talking about X series Zero.

I would be a tie for me. they both have new weapons and are very powerful. X is now a cyber elf and zero is still a robot with new weapons so would be a tie no matter what

i'd say blue ownes every one of them. he's the best and if you don;t know who he is then you don;t play enough megaman. but.

i aggree, no matter what game ya play as long as X is the main character then you always see Zero along the path like he just teleported there and didn;t even have to bother fighting lame bad guys.
