Superman is much stronger (he can lift and move planets) and faster (he kept up with the Flash who can move faster than light, which any DBZ character has yet to achieve)

I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks Superman would lose this fight doesn't know much about the character. Cartoon Superman would probably lose, I admit. Comic Superman, which is the one I'm assuming the poll is based on, however, would beat Goku into a bloody pulp in a fraction of a second.

I have seen all of DBZ before and Ive read the whole manga too. Nowhere does it imply that they are faster than lightspeed. and this poll is based on comic Superman which is the valid canon version of him and he could just kill Goku with one blast of laser vision

Goku's Instant Transmission will give him added mobility, but honestly I can't see any way to set up this fight to where you get a decisive winner. Either way they'll discover that neither one is really a bad guy and go out for drinks or something.
