Oh great another Dragon X.... Provide the proof or just live up to being a simple fanboy with no sense... Let's face it just because you like a certain character doesn't automatically mean that they'll always win every single fight. Although in this case they will never technically finish the fight. They'll find out that neither of them are bad people and go for coffee. Their personalities won't allow otherwise...

Goku can breathe in space now? That's new. I guess you missed the episode where King Kai said that Goku would die from lack of oxygen in space during the Frieza saga.

Goku can lift a ton at intense gravity. That's all gravy. But can he drag planets?

We're talking about Goku being alive, but if you'd rather have him dead, that would be even worse for Goku because he would only have a certain amount of time to fight before he gets sent back, in which Superman would already have wiped the floor with him.

Look, the facts are there. Goku doesn't stand a chance. This topic has been done so many times it's not even funny. Like I said before, if you are going to use a DBZ character against Superman, pick Buu. At least Buu has actual abilities like candy beam, absorption and regeneration. That would be a much less one sided fight.

You really need to read the comics of Superman and find out his true abilities...

Instead of typing up a long counter point, I'm going to quote a previous counter point I made, which is just as long.

Oh, not this s*** again. There was the Superman vs the Hulk topic(which I halted) and now this. Which has been DONE TO DEATH. There was a huge massive topic about on it on some site and it got shut down, BECAUSE of the same thing we're talking about. Hell, the same topic was on Gamefaqs and it was a war. Now the site forbids the topic, which is what AA should do, because it's so friggin obvious and it's already been proven that Superman could destroy Goku.

There so many friggin versions of Superman but I'll use the(one of many) over-powered one as an example.

Superman can turn back time. Yes, Superman can move so fast he can turn back time.
Superman is invincible thanks to a forcefield close to his skin that he can extend.(except to Kryptonite. And do NOT even say that Goku could just use kryptonite against him, because how would Goku figure out Superman's weakness?)
Superman can drag/pull planets.
Superman can regenerate.
Superman has unlimited stamina.
Superman's heat vision can bypass intangibility AND invunerability.
Superman can breathe in space as well as hold his breath for undefined periods of time. That shoots down the whole "blow up the planet and Superman's a goner" argument down in flames. Besides, why the hell would the heroes of DBZ blow up a planet to beat one person? Wouldn't be much of a victory now, would it?

GOKU HAS NONE OF THOSE ABILITIES. SUPERCHEAP WOULD OWN HIM FOR FREE. Q.E.D.


And yes, I'm quite aware that there are weak versions of Superman that Goku could spank all the way to the moon and back. However, seeing as we're talking about Goku at the height of his powers, it would only be fair to do the same for Supercheap.

No, that was a mistranslation on the English dub's part. Neither the manga or the Japanese version say that Goku can move at the speed of light.


If you're going to do a (insert DBZ character here) vs Superman, pit Kid Buu or Super Buu against him. At least they've got more abilities than the rest of the cast instead of just a high power level.

Surely, lifting a PLANET would exert some kind of hugely intense gravity on Superman, but guess what, he can withstand that. So, I'm very sure he could withstand Earth's gravity x100.

However, as we have all seen numerous times in anime and manga an individual's personality and beliefs dramatically affect their performance in battle and wheather or not they even decide to fight at all. With this said, Goku and Superman would not fight each other and would instead hang out or something.

Hmm, there are different versions of Superman like I said before. That guide could be referring to one of many Superman's. I never said that he could travel through time. And seeing as Superman has very clearly flown through space, that means he can breathe in space, now wouldn't it? I'll explain it better. In one incident, Superman moved so fast, he span the world and made time go back. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Personally, I'd think Superman would triumph over Goku but instead, I'm going to back off and agree to disagree.

I very much agree. This topic is just pointless, and I'm merely flogging a dead horse. I also agree to the people that said Goku and Superman wouldn't even fight. In fact, they'd most likely team up.
