The stuffed animal?
Kon is a modified soul that is used to take over Kurosaki Ichigo's body when he has to go into Shinigami form.
Rukia didn't know that he was a mod-soul, and Kon tried to steal Ichigo's body.
In the end, Rukia and Ichigo decide to keep him and use him.
They just keep him in a stuffed animal.

[Soul Society tried to make souls that could take over the deceased and thus produced Modified Souls. In the end, there were problems about how it wasn't right to do that to dead bodies. Just using them for fighting when they're already dead.. So, they destroyed all of the Mod Souls, that were in pill-like forms. Kon managed to escape the destroying of his kind, and who knows if there are more just like him?]


Oh and those two guys after Rukia are Kuchiki Byakuya and Abarai Renji.
Byakuya is her 'brother', oh, you'll find out more about him later.
