I find it ironic that one would be called a loser for not possessing vast quantities of material devoted to a niche genre of film. Congradulations, you are probably the most normal of us here.

Anyways, I like figurines quite a bit. I have:
50+ 1/144 Scale Gundam model, both High-grade and Gradeless
15+ 1/100 Scale Gundam model, both High-grade and Master-Grade
1 1/60 Perfect Grade Zaku II model
1 Fix Figuration Zeta-Plus Statue
1 Aura Battler Dunbine fixed statue
a single 1/400 White Base Battleship (which is occupying most of a coffee table)
30+ assorted other Gundam figures
20 or so random Transformers Figures
1 Primus/Cybertron Planet Transformer

If you want to count Tokusatsu, then I also have 10-20 Kamen Rider figures, as well as several Super Sentai transforming robots.

I'm dying to get these, but I'm afraid they are way too expensive for me.

We need a lot more of those here in the U.S. I have to go out of my way and go to China Town or online to get anime merchandise.

Unfortunately, that isn't an economically viable option, and will not happen anytime soon. Stores in the Philippines can stock anime merchandise due to the widespread popularity of anime here, which has had a long and varied history, dating back to the 1970s. In fact, during the reign of the dictator, President Marcos, super robot anime such as Voltes V, Voltron, Mazinger Z and Grendizer were banned, as they were beating the State-run television channel in ratings. Nowadays, we have 2 dedicated 24/7 anime channels and 4-7 other channels that show anime regularly, making exposure high, and making it possible for anime goods to be sold in mainstream toystores.

Anime in the US just isn't popular enough to warrant space in mainstream toystores sadly enough.

There are Anime shops online that carry items from Japan, they take US dollars but they over charge.

While many do, not all overcharge, HLJ is pretty reputable, and its actual prices are much better than the prices I see in stores or online. Shipping is a bit expensive, but the costs are worthwhile and made neglible if one orders in bulk (or shares orders with friends)

They had a diecast transforming/separating Soul of Chogokin Voltes V for $120. In stores, it usually costs double that price.
