I went and saw it, it was totally great, very intense, but I wouldn't suggest it for the sqeamish, there was a lot of blood, very much a "man's" movie. If you love Mythology and great battle scenes, this movie is for you. Seriously some of the best sword fights I've seen in a movie, there was this one slow motion scene that was just fabulous!

I saw it last night with the guy. We were heavly stoned and got kicked out of a few places a few times. But it was a good movie from what i can remember.

I'll probably go see it this weekend as my birthday "party." It looks really awesome, and I can't wait to see it. But this movie is far from historically correct. If I remember the trailer, weren't there guys riding rhinos? Even though there were 300 Spartans, there was originally 1,000 people defending Athens from the Persians. At least, that's what I learned from the History channel, lol. But yes, in terms of cinematography and mythology, this movie looks awesome.

Now how many sex scenes were there? I heard there was a lesbian sex scene, is that true?

Yeah, the details are far from the truth, but the over all story is pretty correct, sure they didn't really ride rhinos. There isn't really a lesbian sex scene, women are dancing with each other and advancing to one guy at the same time, but nothing with each other.

Just saw this yesterday and all I can say is this movie is too beautiful! Visually stunning and dramatic! Every scene is just amazing, they really did a great job adapting the comic book to a movie.

I was somewhat reminded of God of war while watching..

I wasn't really drawn into the story but the graphics just blew my mind!
Definitely a 5/5

agreed with maven, if you are looking for a fab story, this movie deff isn't the greatest, this movie is all about the sheer power or stunning graphics and fights I wanna see it again real bad!
