one of my favorite classic rock bands is The Beatles why? because they started the whole rock generation and opened doors to many bands we have now. The Beatles were an inspiration to us all.

Classic Rock. hmm...

I'm just gonna mention some Rock bands I like which are old but I'm not sure on when exactly they were around. Before the 90s I strongly assume -

Pink Floyd
Cream/Eric Clapton
Van Halen
Queen
U2
The Doors
Dire Straights/Mark Knopfler
Aerosmith
Led Zeppelin

I'm fairly sure most of them were around before the 80s.

I like a lot of other music from before the 90s. But it isn't exactly classic rock.
