Anime Christmas Party!

Her blush grew.All at once she smelled burning pasteries."My pies!"She said,and rand into teh kitchen,pulling out the semi-burnt pies.

Beru walked into the kitchen, smelling the pastries. He looked at the sad look on her face and the half burned pies and smiled, taking one from the tray.
"They look delicious," he grinned, taking a bite.

She knew she's left them in for too long...they were horrible,she thought,just horrible....

"Yep, just as I thought. They taste great." Beru smiled to Xalem, giving her a thumbs-up.

[Motoko Chan]

She wouldn't make eye-contact."You don't have to lie to me...they're burnt...I messed up...."She said,slumping to the floor,as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Listen," Beru told her, kneeling down so he was on her level, "Everyone has their mess-ups, but it's those messups that make us perfect," he then laughed, taking another bite of the pastry, "Or in these pastries' case, delicious."

[Motoko Chan]

At that,she looed up,and managed to crack a smile."You're a dork sometimes,you know that Beru?"She said,giving him a hug.

Beru wrapped his arms around her, laughing. "Yeah, but I'm your dork, Xalem." he grinned.

[Motoko Chan]

She laughed,and stuck her tongue out at him."Dorky dorky lemon porky....hehe"She said.

"I didn't know pork could be lemony." Beru laughed, lifting Xalem up in his arms and carrying her into the main room and sitting her on the couch, sitting down beside her and turning on the TV.
"Alright, now I'm bored." he sighed, still laughing a bit.

She laughed a little,then layed on the couch,her head in his lap.

Beru was surprised a little when placed her head on his lap, but thought nothing of it.
"Wow, not many people are here. So much for a party, for now, at least." he said, leaning his head back on the couch and relaxing.

"Well,you are two hours early.."She said,giggling.

"Really? Well, that might be the cause." he smiled, putting his hands behind his head and sighing as he closed his eyes.

She giggled."Tired much?"
