im just posting this cause i wanna know the names of some bands who actually sing about important things like society, war, humanity etc etc(like marilyn manson, afi, noFx, system of a down, greenday...to name a few)

Bad Religion is the best one Ive found so far. Plus, the lead singer and songwriter is a genius. He has A pHd in Evolutionary biology, a master's in anthropology, and a masters's in archaeology. Plus, he got his pHd at Cornell, an Ivy League school. If youre looking for intelligent, meanimgful lyrics, look no further.

My general opinion is for music that's truly meaningful probaly not rap.(no offense to anyone).I think most of the rock suggestions made are great.System of a Down is definitely the best though.We need more music w/ meaning.
