Trophy Tussle 3 (SSBM help)

I'm playing the Trophy Tussle match in event mode in SSBM. But I'm having a hard time on that event. Can anyone help?

Probably the simplest way to win is to just use Marth and side Smash A constantly. Run and swing. >_>

or use Kirby or Jigglypuff to float and let them kill each other
