I have a 360 and really enjoy it... Besides the fact of Oblivion and the possibility of getting Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Microsoft really needed a good system and the 360 is doing better then expectations. Sony on the other hand seems to shooting themselves in the foot at every turn. The high price, the fact that they're only going to have about 400,000 available for a US release and they're delaying the launch in the U.K.

I think they jumped the gun with the Blu-ray as well. Blu-ray could very well bomb if it follows the tread of the Mini disk and UMDs... Then there's a possibility of PS3 games being more then 60 bucks. I honestly beleive the normal price could be 70 to 80 bucks a game. With this I think the balance of power can really shift in Microsoft's direction.

I was really hyped about the PS3, but now I'm not so sure. The only people that will be able to afford them are the guys whose well to do parents will buy everything for them. Sony is going to drive away casual gamers to Microsoft and Nintendo.

Then of course there is a possibility of a 360 price cut as it nears it's first year out. Then of course you have Gears of War and a good reason to beleive that they'll make Assassin's Creed for the 360 as well...

Anyway, this thread is pointless: the PS3 isn't even out yet, we cant judge which system is better.

Well get the $500 one. You save $100 and you're not missing much: 20GB HD instead of 60GB, Flash Card reader, Wi-Fi adapter, HDMI port which you wont be able to use unless you have an HD TV, and silver trim which is so pointless. You can still play video games and go online with the damn thing.

And bigj666, is your finger stuck to the shift key or are you having trouble finding the caps lock? What the hell is with the upper case?
