remake morrowind

Cody and myself were talking about Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind and commparing it to Oblivion and we came up with this: Morrowind is superior in all catagories except one and that is smooth game play. even without the smooth game play morrowind is one of the best games ever made (if not the best)

we thought that if we could show Bethesda that enough people would buy the remake that they might consider making it.

if you are a fellow Morrowing gamer then post your thoughts. be sure to tell your friends so we get enough to convince them.

i mean imagine the awesomeness of morrowind with the perfect game play of oblivion on an Xbox360 with HD. it would out sell all other games. its awesomeness would be un-rivaled

No, I like it how it is. I dont play it on the 360 just on the pc, the way it is meant to be played. 360 might be a good console but no console will ever compare to a kick ass computer.

Oblivion is a great game I admit,but it can't compare to its predecessor.If they remake the G.O.T.Y version of morrowind i will cream my pants.Think of it,oblivion's game play and morrowind's great storyline,weapons,quests,and armors...it would be as if god himself blessed us with his own game

The game of the year version cannot really get better, the only way it can is if they make it on a next gen console but that would be an overhaul of graphics and code! The game just would not be the same. I still have a copy for my pc have not touched it in years but tis a great game as is. Its best played on pc, I do not know what you 2 are talking about when you say "smooth gameplay" On the pc I had back than it ran as smooth as a baby's bottom.

i own the G.O.T.Y version of both and i must say i still vegetate in front of Morrowind for hours on end. all that they should update is the game engine so it runs as smooth as Oblivion. everyone i talk to about the game says the same thing.

you know how many people would buy it...oh my, the stores wouldnt be able to keep it stocked.

A remake would be great. At least to fix up those little glitches and make the game run more smoothly.

If you thought about the process behind making a game you would know that in todays world technology is more advanced. If you wanted smoother graphics why did you not purchase a more powerfull video card? I am not giving you a hard time just that if they would remamke the game it would have to be for the same console/pc. Otherwise they would have to scratch everything else and make an entirely new game. Or you can simply just play oblivion.. Tis not the same game but thats smooth enough just the same.

thats what we're saying morrowind is a better game but the game play is choppy. i would much rather play morrowind than oblivion.

it wouldnt be that hard to revamp the graphics and make it flow better. and in the end it would make bethesda money and thats all that matters to companies

I enjoyed the game, but yeah the game play was a bit broken. I like how you can kill everyone in the game, that was cool.

Untill they make a remake you can just download a Morrowing total conversion for Oblivion. I got one. It even adds the skills that where taken away in Oblivion.

Exactly, Omega. I have it too. It's Oblivion, but it has everything that Morrowind has. I downloaded it onto my xbox 360. It kicks major ass.
