Back Story

in the very near future the human gene has started evolving. those of this generations are developing multiple powers and are called Psychers. Psychers make up 5% of the worlds population and are sent to study in the former country of Japan, which is now called Hidan and after that they can choose to leave Hidan or remain there.

these psychers go to Psycher Academies to develop their powers and once every two years psycher students from all over Hidan join a large country wide tournament, in which they battle in multiple battle zones spread throughout the Mount Fuji Country side, while having cities and towns and areas with rest stops as safe zones

the tournament aim is to gain 15 tokens (each Psycher starts with 1) and only the first 20 psychers to gain 15 tokens can go to the Tokyo Finals where they fight for bragging rights and a 500,000 USD School Scholarships (winners can only win once)

Psychers

Psychers are spread between four classes

1) telekinetic - can read thoughts and move objects with their minds, they are generally weak versus spirit summoners but strong versus word summoners
2) Word Summoner - draw powers and weapons from somethings name (like elemental powers and enchanted weapons from a rock or a person), they are generally strong versus spirit summoners but are weak versus Telekinetics
3) Spirit Summoner - Summon a their guardian spirit and are also able to control elements their guardian spirit represent, they are generally strong versus telekenetics and weaker versus word summoners
4) Mixed - these type of Psychers are generally weaker than their counter parts but they have access to all three powers, allowing for a weaker summon, able to draw powers from in-aminate objects and able to move objects.

psycher academies

their are four psycher academies each built on the direction parts of the outermost area of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.

these academies offer all language courses since the population of Hidan has very diverse ethnic diversity. although English and Japanese are the main languages. in which at least 50% of the student population can speak English and 25% can speak complete Japanese (although HIdan is generally Japan students rarely ever go out of their academies and when ever they do they have at least one translator if required)

the academies are:
Saint Paul Academy (south, their colours are Red and Green)
Leeroy Jenkins Academy (west, their colours are gold and white)
Komei Academy (East, their colours are Purple and blue)
Blizzard Academy (North, their colours are light blue and white)

bio: quarter japanese (father's side) he used to live in Vancuver,Canada till he was 8 years old before he moved to Hidan. he has a small spirit named mokona who oddly enough is a strong wind spirit. his spirit summoning powers specialize in cutting winds, flying and scouting.

Spirit Element: water
bio: Urufu is half japanese and half american. She was born in America and moved to Hidan when she was ten. She spirit alternates between white and black depending on her mood. If she is comfortable with teh opponent or situation, Ranpo, her spirit, is white, but if she is angry or hurt, he turns dark. She cannot control him as well when he is black.
