Look around.

There is not much left of our world.

Between the darkness of the Empire, the fruition of the Military and the small ray of light bottled with the Rebels the world has begun to fall.

Endless battles erupt and time is running out to save the innocents.

In the beginning it was only the Empire and Military that were the major players in the fate of the world. But when the line between good and evil started to blur it gave rise to a new small, but hopeful band of Rebels known as the Returners. In the cover of their fortress they give shelter to the weak, defend the defenseless and strive to return the world to its former glory.

But even their diligence and hope has become wary in the face of an onslaught from both super powers.

The only hope that they can hold to?

The Divine ones.

Little is known of the race that once existed, but what is most widely known of them...is their birth-given ability of Mana or Magic. They were hated because of it, killed for the want of it and a war was started that still raged into this day and age. There are said to be sightings of them on occasion but no one really knows if any of them still exist...

In the night when you listen carefully you may still hear one of them singing in a soft voice.

This RP isn't for the faint of heart, it will be a sad but strong tale if you are willing to embark.

Custom Characters are preferred. You don't have to be apart of the three main factions E/M/R (Empire/Military/Returners) and can be a Mercenary or plain civilian. Limit your characters to 3 if you want more than one.

NOTE: If you are going to be one of the Divine ones, they are creatures of all kinds dragons/cats/dogs/wolves pretty much anything goes.

Yeah you're bio is fine lol! I just want to point out something about the Divine Ones.

If you are going to be a Divine One please understand that you have to limit yourself on how much power you have or I'll cut your character in half, i want this too be fun and hard. If you appear in human form, than no matter what.

You're a half-breed.

Full Divine creatures are constantly in their forms, so I'm sorry for not pointing it out earlier.

Bio:
At a young age Serenity had everything ripped from her. If it hadn't been for her other half as a support and a man named Axel, she most likely would have died from dispair. No one knows of her being a half-breed but the leader of the Returners and herself. Even the other Divine ones cannot sense her in the base for she was the daughter of the Divine Leader.

She doesn't know anything else about her family, she considers Axel her family but desires to find and protect all other Divines. That is why she is with the Returners to ensure the survival of their race, and to fight against the worlds evil.

Humans may not have magic.

There is a way for them to achieve it, they cannot start out with magic, but if either they are Blessed by a Full Divine giving them half their powers therefore both of them becoming a half-breed, OR kililng a Divine full/half and ripping out the stone in their hearts.

Listen. I understand that being a Divine seems like the most appealing because of the magic and being a half of anything but you must understand there is going to be a limit on how many I'll allow in the RP.

AS OF NOW.

If you're going to have more than one character, only one of them can be a Divine.

They are a dieing race, and if everybody has one it defeats the point.

Besides that did you ever think about them becoming extinct? Be wary of your Choice for being a Divine, for they are the ones in danger of being most likely killed.

As for MY character, i made her like that because there had to be One Divine to bring the rest together.

Oh. People tend to like to have several different battle types that are super powered. In order to maintain a descent level of balance in battle I decided to have only ONE special ability that is the super essance of their being.

Say you're a fire user.

You're SA could be like Epsilon Burst, which is a mega-fire attack that will shake the ground within a distance and everything will burst into flames leaving nothing but ashes in its wake. A powerful technique that can destroy foes but allies as well.

The rest of your attacks may only be low/medium level. Fireball, lightening bolt etc. I don't want magic taking over the RP that is why I limited their SA to one.

AND none of the Divines have been taught to the best of their abilities, Everyone is starting pretty much without knowing or knowing very little how to be a Divine therefore only a few will be able to use heigher level of magics on a constant basis without dieing.

For Humans, an SA can be a special ability that their weapon or heritage can give them, and also double-techs that can coincide with other peoples.

For Example. Axel's Titan Blade, he uses the special reinforcement of metal that's embedded into his handle, to swing the ax in three circular motions before doing a ground shattering horizontial slash. It sounds weak than what most magic users can do, but there are ways to weaken and or avert magic, Axel has a technique that does just so.

The Empire and Military do as well. Divine Ones could be placed into a situation where their powers could be nullified and they would be merely as they seem, Human or as their animal form.
