1. number 1 is right. shinta is his true name.
hiko seijuro gave the name kenshin which means "Heart of sword".

2. number 2 is wrong... i think it's Sanosuke. Zanza is just his nickname. by the way, it's
"Sanosuke" not "Sanoskas". His enemies calls him Zanza because of his weapon of choice,
the "Zanbattou".

3. number 3 is true. they both broke their sword in the fight. shishio lend his sword to soujiro.

4. number 4 is right. Aoshi went to the Zen temple after the fight to clean his mind.

6. number 6 is also right. their fight took place at kyoto.

7. the "leaves" has nothing to do with kenshin's will to fight back shishio.
kenshin want's to stop shishio in order to bring back peace in kyoto. thus saving
millions of innocent life and as well as the life of his loved ones.

just to show the viewer that his ki is coming out. (well, what do you expect from an anime.

FYI, Kenshin; I have watched all episodes a GAZILLION times each. Especially the final battle of Kenshin and Shishio. And I own copies of them in VHS format. I copied it when it was shown in AXN. (im such a poor guy)

Once again, a particular object such as the leaves in the final battle of Kenshin and Shishio did not affect Kenshin's will in fighting his mummified antagonist. Here are the reasons:

1. If "YOU" had gotten a chance to watch and "UNDERSTAND" the episode, you will see that the leaves dont have a connection to his fight. Kenshin was knocked out for a few minutes and shishio thought that he was dead (STUPID MUMMY). and after a few minutes he awoke.and while waking from his short nap, (actually, i really dont think he was taking a nap. he is just regaining his strength for some reasons) he now felt determined and wanted to defeat Shishio more than ever. The leaves rose from the ground (i repeat, with no connection to his DETERMINATION) because of a force coming from his body. This force is called "KI" (please refer to the nearest Japanese anime dictionary near you). Notice that some of the blood dripping from his wounds are also resisting gravitational pull. And you cant say that his blood is also his inspiration to fight Shishio. (THAT IS INSANE!). I repeat, it's because of his "KI"!!!!!

ABOUT THAT "FIRE"
AGAIN!!!! fire has nothing to do with it! Fire isnt the reason for Shishio's beliefs. Even before (refer to the eisode of Soujiro Seta's childhood), THERE WAS NO FIRE IN THAT EPISODE!! But even before, He believed in his principle that "the strong shall live and the weak shall perish". and by then he was already obsessed in being the strongest.

IT'S THE ANIMATOR'S FAULT!!!
Maybe the fire thing also came from the animator's artistic preference. You see, in some episodes of the anime, whenever shishio laughs, or shouts, the fire bursts out from the tubes thus surrounding the background with fire. THIS IS JUST AN ARTIST's artistic way of showing 'fiery emotions' or to show his antagonism.

a word of concern; "please watch and understand closely the anime that you love..."

No way, kenshin... I am also a huge Kenshin buff- I've seen all the episodes many times (tho I do occasionally miss details like in the questions I missed). Hitokiri is right. Tho I must disagree when it comes to the fire. I think that the leaves where affected by Kenshin's ki, and the fire was Shishio's counterpart ki.
