I say any legendary bands really are but at least their music is easily standable unlike certain new bands that their lyrics are just complete garbage =x Somehow they still get popular =/

sure enough, I think basically nearly all the mainstream stuff is overrated, there might be 1 good some, but usually the others are unbearable....

I wouldn't really say MCR are overrated cause they don't get much 'positive' attention, most of it is OMG they're whiny (Which I don't get cause if you actually listen to them they're not that bad) And Emo band (which again they're not) >_>
Metallica I'd say is one, Haven't heard a good song from them yet so maybe need to look harder
And A favourite of mine Linkin Park, Almost every site I go to there's like 20 threads on whether or not someone likes Linkin Park
