The new Amityville Horror Movie

It looks even better than the first one which came out in 1979. The fact that it is a true story too is really intriguing. Ryan Reynolds in playing the main character (George Lutz) and it looks like he is going to do a really good job. I'm going to go see it when it comes out on April 15th. Anyone else? Yeah, it does. My mom said that it was actually based on a real house. She said that people went to check it out and they saw really strange things, like dead bodies on the floor where there had been nothing two seconds before, unexplainable bloodstains on the wall where the wall had been clean two seconds before, and people floating around. My mom said that the Amityville House has a pretty disturbing and bloody history as well. Spooky, isn't it?

It is a true story, the Lutz family moves in after a whole family was murdered, except the father who said that he heard strange voices telling him to do things, like kill his family. There is an article about it in this week's People magazine.

Remakes tend to suck, and hollywood is running out ideas on how to make a movie, so they just go ahead remake old movies, try to find true stories about the lives of people and make in a movie, not that there is something wrong with that, but its starting to get unoriginal.
