Does anyone know ANYTHING about Sailormoon on these forums?!

Okay, I'm unleashing my anger here:
I am baffled by the stupidity and ignorance on these forums. How can you claim to love Sailormoon if you follow the dub, know nothing about it, and make up stupid rumors?! HOW?!

you cant say whats right or wrong to watch. if we wqatch sailor moon, know things about it then we're fans whatever.

you know this topic can be locked because you're complaining about other people.
there's no right or wrong answer. if you were the creator of Sailor Moon then maybe it would be different. but you're not and yo dont know whether you're right or wrong.

Since when is an opinion right or wrong? It can't be proven right or wrong. My opinion is that a lot of people who claim to be Sailormoon fans really know NOTHING about the show. My friends agree with me.

Also, since my statements about the stupid rumors are correct. I own every tankubon of manga, both the English and Japanese versions, I have every single episode uncut, both sub and dub, and tapes I made when Sailormoon was airing on cartoon network. I have read and watched all of the above material. And you claim I don't know what I'm talking about? Seeing how there is no season six, we can assume that the rumor about season six airing on English TV is incorrect...Or maybe that's just a logical mind speaking...

I like dubbed but subbed is a bit better, I like the Dub names: Serena, Amy, Lita, Raye, Mina, Michelle, Amara, Hotaru (Unchanged), Trista, Darien better though

The dubbed Inner Senshis' names were okay, since they were pretty much left the same (except for Makoto-Lita), but the Outers dub names really bothered me. Their voices bothered me more.

Michiru's name became Michelle, and she had the same voice actress as Serena's MOTHER. Sweet, playful 16-year-old Michiru suddenly had the voice of a 40-year-old housewife.

Haruka became Amara. Haruka is a the epitome of a tomboy, and in the Japanese version, has a very deep, rough voice with a hint of feminity. As I watched the English version, I wondered HOW "Serena" and "Mina" could mistake "Amara" for a man with such a feminine name and girly, high-pitched voice.

The worst name translation and voice casting for an Outer Senshi was Trista. Setsuna (in the original Japanese version) was solemn, mysterious, and regal. Then frickin' Cloverway comes crashing in, changes Setsuna (which in Japanese, means "moment", by the way) to Trista, and replaces her beautiful, lonely voice with the voice of a teeny-bopper valley girl. Congrats, Cloverway. You slaughtered the image of my favorite character (well, not counting Hotaru, of course).

Although I dislike the dubbed version of Sailormoon, (mainly because it's "politically correct") I don't wish the dubbed version to disappear. Thanks to the dubbed Sailormoon, I was introduced to anime when I was a kid. So the dubbed has a couple of good points. >.> I still prefer the subbed though.

I agree, it was because of the dub that I found my beloved Sailor Moon, but I still hate it.
I also hate the fact that DIC butchered my favourite Anime!
