Dedede is a fat glutton. He tries to get rid of Kirby because of Kirby's over-popularity. He orders monsters from a company called Night-Mare Enterprises (NME) to destroy Kirby.
When he isn't plotting, he orders monsters to solve a problem in either Cappy town or in his own castle. His lacky and best friend is a snail called Escargoon.
