Anime Description: Yu Yu Hakusho
Tokyo, modern day.
A boy named Yuske Urameshi is a ghetto-street junior high schooler who is flunking classes. The story picks up in the downtown area, suddenly, when he spots a kid standing in the street in the path of an oncoming car. Yusuke pushes the child out of the way, but loses his life in the process.
He goes to the spirit world, where the ruler has a body of a toddler, and his assistant is the somewhat beautiful Botan, who rides an oar like a witch rides a broom. From there, he makes many choices and crazy decisions that both help and hurt him.

This show is my absolute fav! Yu Yu Hakusho was what got me into anime. It is been almost 10 years since i saw it for the first time and it's the show i compare all others to.

i wish there was more episodes of this show. people don't understand the greatness of a show such as yu yu hakusho so they toss it away and choose to watch shoes like dragon ball Z. both may seem like great shows but i personally prefer to watch Yu Yu hakusho over Dragon Ball Z. Yu Yu hakusho is more action with story, and not fighting every 2 seconds. although every episode does have a fight, Yu Yu Hakusho has a unique story line unlike dragon ball z, with unique powers such as, spirit gun, shotgun, dragon of the darkness flame, rose whip, death plant, etc. its sad to see how this show was taken of the air for the mass violence, bloody images, and excessive use of language. this work is caused by parents who do not wish to allow their children to grow up with these shows, these parents are self centered people who are sad because they did not have a great childhood so they want to ruin it for their children. thats one of the reasons toonami was canceled and replaced with utter crap filled shows such as chowder. i am deeply disappointed at the people who complained about these things and i think they should reconsider their actions.
