Orochimaru posed as the Jounin leader of a squad of Sound genins during the preliminaries, and later they were killed. But then, during the main matches, he posed as Gaara's father. I don't think Gaara's father's name is ever revealed, but he's the Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village.
