Naruto Discussion Topic for 08/12/06(Hinata Vs. Neji PT 2 )

So, I'm back on the ball with my Discussion Topic.

In this episode, We see the meat of Hinata Vs. Neji, as well as the end of the fight.

Well, I'm gonna miss it because my cable's out (again), but I already saw it in Japanese. I don't really like it. Poor Hinata. She tried so hard. That episode sorta shaped my personal view on Neji because he tried to kill her. Darn you, Neji!

He gets better after he Fights Naruto. Don't hate him yet. He actually smiles a lot more...

Yeah. I don't really hate him (I can't hate people I feel sorry for). It's kinda like/dislike thing. I didn't really like Gaara, but now I don't mind him as much. Maybe that's what'll happen with Neji.

I liked it when Naruto kept cheering Hinata on even when everyone thought she was down for the count. I didn't like Neji's little speech on how everyone's destined to never change.

i like neji, but he could use an changeon his out look. Poor hinata, what do you think will happen to her? and naruto, neji was really working him up. so lee and gaara fight next week, can't wait. do u really think neji was bent on killing her?

Yeah, Neji was trying to kill her. For all Neji's saying how destiny is unchangeable he is really trying to change his own as hard as he can, and in this case it was by trying to kill the heir to the Hyuuga clan.

The Hyuga family is pretty messed up in it's own way. After what happened to Neji's father, it's easy to see why he would want to kill a member of the main branch. I think he wanted to kill Hinata because she told him a truth.

Neji's father was killed in place of Hyuuga Hiashi to avert a war with the cloud country. Hiashi killed their leader when he tried to kidnap Hinata, and the country was going to declare war on Konoha if they didn't get Hiashi's dead body in return. Neji's father and Hiashi were identical twins, and because Hiashi was of the main branch and Neji's dad was in the branch clan he was killed and his body was sent in Hiashi's place.
